Recreated Resource: Publications (Mandarin) Page

The Publications (Mandarin) page (publications short link: tiandi.info/pubs), which used to be on www.chinesetools.net, has been recreated on troubadourworks.com/tiandi.

The Publications (Mandarin) page links to Simplified Chinese-Pīnyīn material for various publications, including the Bible Stories book and the Teacher book.

BTW, there is now a short link for the Bible Stories book:

Work on recreating Chinese field resources at troubadourworks.com/tiandi is continuing, so check back here regularly for updates.

Password Protection Removed From Publications (Mandarin) Page Files

A password is no longer required to access the files from the Publications (Mandarin) page. This change will gradually be made to other resources as well on a case-by-case basis.

How to Conduct Bible Studies... Files Posted

The How to Conduct Bible Studies... files have been posted for download from the Helpful Files (Mandarin) page. These files go over introductions from the Reasoning book, how to make return visits, and how to conduct Bible studies in the Chinese field. Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions are available, both of which provide pinyin romanisation. Thanks go out to the one who made these files available.

Also of note is that a password is no longer required to access the files from the Helpful Files (Mandarin) page.

Some New Cantonese Resources on 3lines.org

I recently got an email from a brother who is now helping to provide Cantonese resources for the 3lines.org site. Here is an update from him on some new Cantonese resources that are there now, or that they are working on:

“We are working on a few things for Cantonese Sidney Lau romanization

• Hebrew Scriptures (Exodus already uploaded, Genesis and Leviticus in progress)
  • We’re intending to complete the Hebrew Scriptures as time goes so that it will support the weekly Bible reading
• Reasoning Book Intro & Conversation Stoppers (already uploaded)
• Recording the Bible Teach book in Cantonese”
