Lasting Peace Br. 2009 Edition Chinese-Pinyin-Eng. LN-A Material Up to P. 12 (Incl. P. 25 Box) Posted

3-line Chinese-Pinyin-English files with LN-A (LinkNav and annotation (notes & highlighting)) containing additional material from the 2009 edition of the Lasting Peace brochure are now available for download. (The wording of the 2009 edition is different from that of previous editions.) The available material now covers from the front cover to p. 12 (including the complete chapter “Is There Really a Most High Creator?”), and also the box on p. 25. The files are available in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese versions. Also, both iPad-Letter-A4 and XLP-iPhone-A5 size files are now available.

The iPad-Letter-A4 size files use letter size as the paper size. When zoomed so that one page fills the entire screen, the material in these files renders at a good, usable size on the iPad and other devices with similarly sized screens. These files can be downloaded from the Lasting Peace Brochure (Chinese-Pinyin-English, iPad-Letter-A4, LN-A) page. (See the 3-Line Material on the iPad page for instructions on how to use these files on an iPad.)

The XLP-iPhone-A5 size files use A5 as the paper size, and they are especially suited for use on devices such as the iPhone, the iPod touch, and other devices with similarly sized screens, such as Android phones. These files can be downloaded from the new Lasting Peace Brochure (Chinese-Pinyin-English, XLP-iPhone-A5, LN-A) page. (See the 3-Line Material on the iPhone and the iPod touch page for instructions on how to use these files on an iPhone or an iPod touch.)

The XLP-iPhone-A5 files should also be a good fit on 6" (15.2 cm) screen Kindles and other similarly sized devices, as well as on tablets with 7" (17.8 cm) screens, as long as these devices have PDF support. (Note that landscape orientation may work best, as explained on the 3-Line Material on the iPhone and the iPod touch page.) Some may prefer to use these files on larger mobile devices like the Kindle DX or the iPad as well.

The XLP-iPhone-A5 files may also be printed out on letter size paper, resulting in Extra Large Print material. (See the Printing Extra Large Print 3-Line Material page for instructions.)

The relevant folders at the 3lines.org site contain HTML files with links to the Lasting Peace Brochure (Chinese-Pinyin-English, iPad-Letter-A4, LN-A) and Lasting Peace Brochure (Chinese-Pinyin-English, XLP-iPhone-A5, LN-A) pages.

“The Cantonese Field...” tiandi.info Post Updated

The tiandi.info post “The Cantonese Field is Flourishing Along With the Mandarin Field” has been updated with a graphic representing the unique visitors to the Cantonese & Mandarin God’s Love book 3-line material download pages so far. These unique visitors total over 9,500 at this time. [More current versions of this file will be posted for download at the bottoms of the God’s Love book 3-line material pages as time allows.—ed., 2009-05-20]

I think it's especially interesting to look at the full size graphic at different zoom levels, from seeing the whole thing to zooming in until single rows are legible. It kind of lets you go from a “bird’s eye view” of this entire large army to a view from within the ranks. You, dear reader, are probably represented by one of the C’s or one of the M’s. If so, it is evident that you are not alone, and that Jehovah is mobilizing more and more workers for both the Cantonese field and the Mandarin field as the end draws ever closer.

To obtain the tiandi.info login information, request e-mail notification of news regarding available resources, or if you have any questions or comments, you may e-mail me at waynerj@shaw.ca, providing information such as what group or congregation you're with, who referred you to this site, etc.
