Bearing Witness Bk. XLP-iPhone-A5 Size LN-A 3-Line Material for Ch. 9 Posted

3-line pinyin and Sidney Lau XLP-iPhone-A5 size files with LN-A (LinkNav and annotation (notes & highlighting)) for Chapter 9 of the Bearing Witness book are now available for download from the Bearing Witness Book (3-Line, XLP-iPhone-A5, LN-A) page.

To further explain how the XLP-iPhone-A5 files may work well on a variety of mobile devices, the following paragraphs are now included on the Bearing Witness Book (3-Line, XLP-iPhone-A5, LN-A) page:

While the regular files use letter size as the paper size, these files named with “XLP-iPhone-A5” use A5 as the paper size, and are especially suited for use on devices such as the iPhone, the iPod touch, and other devices with similarly sized screens, such as Android phones. (See the 3-Line Material on the iPhone and the iPod touch page for instructions on how to use these files on an iPhone or an iPod touch.)
The XLP-iPhone-A5 files should also be a good fit on 6" (15.2 cm) screen Kindles and other similarly sized devices, as well as on tablets with 7" (17.8 cm) screens, as long as these devices have PDF support. (Note that landscape orientation may work best, as explained below.) Some may prefer to use these files on larger mobile devices like the Kindle DX or the iPad as well.
The relevant folders at the 3lines.org site contain an HTML file with a link to the Bearing Witness Book (3-Line, XLP-iPhone-A5, LN-A) page.

PDF Annotation (Notes & Highlighting) Page Updated

The PDF Annotation (Notes & Highlighting) page has been updated. The list of related pages has been reformatted to match my current design for that section, and the following sentence has been added to the caption for the GoodReader for iPad screenshot with a note annotation containing Chinese characters and pinyin:

To quickly and easily type pinyin with proper diacritical tone marks on an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, you may use the app Pinyin Typist. [Full disclosure: I am the creator of Pinyin Typist.]

Was Life Created? Br. Chinese-Pinyin-Eng. LN-A Material Up to P. 17 Posted

3-line Chinese-Pinyin-English files with LN-A (LinkNav and annotation (notes & highlighting)) containing material covering from the front cover to p. 17 of the Was Life Created? brochure are now available for download. The files are available in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese versions. Also, both iPad-Letter-A4 and XLP-iPhone-A5 size files are available.

The iPad-Letter-A4 size files use letter size as the paper size. These files can be downloaded from the Was Life Created? Brochure (Chinese-Pinyin-English, iPad-Letter-A4, LN-A) page.

The XLP-iPhone-A5 size files use A5 as the paper size, and they are especially suited for use on devices such as the iPhone, the iPod touch, and other devices with similarly sized screens, such as Android phones. (See the 3-Line Material on the iPhone and the iPod touch page for instructions on how to use these files on an iPhone or an iPod touch.)

Some may prefer to use these files on larger mobile devices like the Kindle DX or the iPad as well.

These files may also be printed out on letter size paper, resulting in Extra Large Print material. (See the Printing Extra Large Print 3-Line Material page for instructions.)

Cantonese Referenced Theo. Expressions Web Lookup Page Created

The Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) Web Lookup page is now online. Rather than containing download links to the RTE data files, it contains a web form that can be used to look up Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) information by English or by Simplified or Traditional Chinese characters. The Cantonese romanization pronunciations in the results are rendered as links that play computer-generated audio for the pronunciations when clicked. For now, Jyutping is the only type of Cantonese romanization in the search results. Sidney Lau romanization may be supported later if there is sufficient demand for it. Thanks go out to the ones who helped to produce this resource.

A link to the Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) Web Lookup page has been added to the Links sidebar on the right of this page, and a similar link has been added to the Links page at tiandi.info.

To clarify its relation to the Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) Web Lookup page, the Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) page has been renamed. It is now called the Referenced Theo. Expressions (Chinese + Cantonese Romanization + English) Downloads page.
